Fernando Sousa represented the PhD student Salif Doumbia for the presentation of his latest results on the study of agroforestry systems in Mali with a presentation titled: "Effects of Gliricidia sepium agroforestry systems associated with maize, cotton and sorghum on soil productivity in Mali". 

The World Congress on Agroforestry took place in Montpellier, France, from 20-22th May, 2019. The overall objective of the Congress was to contribute to the progress of agroforestry science and practice in order to bridge the science-policy gap.
